New Zealand Day 6

[24 Mar 2017] Checked Out from Twizel and we headed to Wanaka. On the way, we stopped by High Country Salmon farm.

Tourist can feed the salmon for free

And we bought salmon again.

Continued our journey to Wanaka.

All along the way, we saw many sheep and milk cow.

New Zealand Day 5

[23 Mar 2017] Today we went hiking in Mt Cook Hooker Valley. The signboard mentioned it required 1hr 35mins for one way.

Finally we reached Hooker Lake.

Time to trek back.

Overnight in Twizel Holiday Park. Two-Bedroom Chalet (NZD150)
What a sunny evening, so we did our laundry here. Then we headed to Twizel town for a walk.

Our cottage with 2 bedrooms, small kitchen, living room and limited free wifi.

Homecooked dinner (Pineapple sauce chicken, onion fried egg, ABC soup) and simple breakfast (cereal, croissant, plum).

New Zealand Day 4

[22 Mar 2017] The next morning, we were back to Church of the Good Shepherd to have morning view. The rocks in Lake Tekapo.

Next, heading to Mt John which near to Lake Tekapo...

We lost our way to Lake Alexandrina 
and we have reached Lake McGregor.

It's convenient that we made our own sandwich snack box, we could eat when we were hungry during road trip. My cheese and ham sandwich.

We are back to Lake Tekapo town to fuel up and groceries before leaving to Mt Cook.

We continued our journey to Mt Cook. We followed the NZ Give Way rules when we came to one way road.

That lady stood in the middle of the road just to take an awesome photo with the backdrop of Mt Cook.

Arrived at Mount Cook Village. Check-in to YHA Aoraki Mt Cook.

The hostel was fully equipped with facilities. Spacious dining area, big kitchen, even with plenty of cooking spices.

It's blessed to have travelmates that were good at cooking.
