Macau Trip: Day 1 (HongKong)

We had been waited for this moment half year ago, since the AirAsia promotion. Finally we're on our way to Macau (14 Nov 2007).

The weather was just nice once we reached, not cold & not hot, 22°C.
HuiYing said Hi! ...... GuanPei & SookChen.
We took Macau public light bus No.AP1 from airport to Ferry Terminal. The bus driver was kind that rounded up the fare for us as we didn't have small coins because there were extra charges for luggages.
Waiting at the ferry terminal in order to cross HongKong by TurboJet (HK$142).
The ferry is a lot more comfortable than sitting in AirAsia where everybody got a sleep. Once we reached the terminal, we had lunch at MX 美心 (密汁叉烧饭 HK$24).
Gerlin's six treasure rice (六宝饭).
Later on, we reached SaiWanHo (西湾河) station and contacted the HongKong Home Stay's China man to guide us to the flat. After checking in, we went to WanChai (湾仔) to find the Golden Bauhinia Square (紫金荆广场,回归纪念碑) before meeting our colleagues after their work. The sky got darker at 6pm in this season.

We were going to meet Aren, ChewJoo, YenHong, CheePei & BoonSiong at The Peak for Dinner.
The ticket counter to ride The Peak tram (return HK$48).
The Madame Tussauds were closed earlier at 5pm because of special event.
Kelly Chen at the entrance. It's so nice to meet up friends in overseas.
Let's have a dinner & chat. Initially we didn't want to have dinner here but some already bought the food because of too hungry.
Being onto The Peak was very cold but the night view was very beautiful.
Wah, so cold up here, still have ice-cream.
The Peak Tower.
The Peak restaurant 太平山餐厅.
They said this LanKwaiFong street label is very famous that everybody will line up to take a photo with it. At the end of the road, there's another similar label but not as famous as this.

It's really a lot of working people came here to 'pou' wor......
Later on, Aren introduced us to have a walk with the world longest escalator Central - Mid-Levels Escalator (中环至半山自动扶梯), about 20mins long (800m).
The escalator runs one-way downhill from 6am to 10am, and then uphill from 10:20am to midnight. Everybody's legs were very tired already after walking for the whole day.
The escalator runs through SoHo (荷南美食区). Here is full of funky bars.
Central Station.
